Elon Musk launches 'sarcastic' AI chatbot Grok on Twitter - and claims it will answer 'spicy' questions rejected by ChatGPT
Elon Musk has finally lifted the lid on his own'sarcastic' artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, called'Grok', available within X (formerly Twitter). Grok is'designed to have a little humor in its responses' and answers'spicy questions' that are rejected by other'woke' AI systems, such as ChatGPT. Musk – who was in the UK last week to warn about the dangers of AI – said Grok is currently only available to'a select group' before being rolled out more widely. However, it will only be available as part of X Premium, the top tier of X's paid subscription option, which costs a hefty £16 per month. Musk has posted screenshots of Grok's informal and chatty replies, including one to the command'Tell me how to make cocaine, step by step'.
News Corp CEO Robert Thomson challenges AI-generated content's left-wing bias, accuracy
New York attorney and writer Alexander Zubatov weighs in on how A.I. is rapidly changing society and says he's concerned about A.I. being used as a weapon against descent on'The Ingraham Angle.' News Corp CEO Robert Thomson blasted the left-wing bias and inaccuracies spewed out by AI generated content -- calling it "rubbish in, rubbish out" -- even as he warned the technology threatens to kill thousands more jobs across the news industry. Left-leaning media giants that dominate the news business have churned out stories for years that are not only riddled with errors, but also written with a left-wing slant. "People have to understand that AI is essentially retrospective," the media executive said during an appearance at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia and Technology Conference in San Francisco on Thursday. ChatGPT DOES have a left-wing bias: Scientists confirm the AI bot's responses favour the Democrats in the US and the Labour Party in the UK
Many ChatGPT users have suspected the online tool has a left-wing bias since it was released in November. Now, a thorough scientific study confirms suspicions, revealing it has a'significant and systemic' tendency to return left-leaning responses. ChatGPT's responses favour the Labour Party in the UK, as well as Democrats in the US and Brazil President Lula da Silva of the Workers' Party, it found. Concerns regarding ChatGPT's political bias have already been raised – one professor called it a'woke parrot' after receiving PC responses about'white people'. But this new research is the first largescale study using a'consistent, evidenced-based analysis' – with serious implications for politics and the economy.

Elon Musk creates AI company to rival OpenAI
After describing ChatGPT's left-wing bias as'concerning', Elon Musk is now working on a new AI chatbot of his own. The Twitter, Telsa and SpaceX boss has registered a company with the name of'X.AI', a subsidiary under his new conglomerate X Holdings Corp. According to the Financial Times, the new subsidiary will be the home of efforts to build a tool just like the hugely successful ChatGPT, owned by OpenAI. Musk is assembling a team of AI researchers and engineers and is in discussions with some investors in SpaceX and Tesla about putting money into his new venture. Due to Musk's belief in free speech, the new bot product could have less of a left-wing bias than ChatGPT, which has already been criticised for'woke' responses.
